Founded in the City of London in 1904, Mayor Sworder has always specialised in supplying corporate hospitality units, West End Clubs, City Livery Companies and professional institutions throughout London and the South East of England. In addition, we have a growing number of wine enthusiasts as private clients.

Our Bordeaux 'en primeur' offers are highly competitive and in addition to our annual main price list, we send out regular promotional offers and bin end lists throughout the year.

An independent family company, Mayor Sworder acquired the old City Wine Merchants, Cuddeford Brothers in 1977, and Russell & McIver in 1992, which positioned us in the top echelon of independent firms supplying the City of London.

In 1995 we joined up with J T Davies & Sons Ltd and we now operate as an independent company under their umbrella. This partnership gives us the extra strengths required to expand and to meet the challenges of the modern market place.

Through the years our philosophy has remained the same. We seek out the best wines, mostly from individual growers who are dedicated to quality at fair prices. We are committed to providing a high level of service and where appropriate, to maintain personal links with our customers.
